A Funny Little Boat

Here's a funny little boat. Eventually it's going to be pulled out to the reef. Some guy is going to sit in it and watch out for illegal fishing.

By the way, yesterday I saw a full rainbow and it was reflected in the water, making a complete circle of rainbow. Wow, so beautiful!

My Birthday

On Friday I spent my birthday teaching:

Then I went to Colonia to run the Olympic Day Fun Run. Well, according to their banner, it was the "Olmpic Day". I came in first place! Two years ago I also won the Olympic Day race in Kosrae, which means I have won it in half of the states. To give you a feeling for how tough the competition was, Rohaizad came in second place.

Then it was off to the Mnuw for pizza and beer. While we were there we ran into Mellyann, and old friend from Pohnpei. Small world.

The Caroline Voyager

After work yesterday, I went down to the dock to watch the Caroline Voyager leave:

It is traveling to Ulithi so people can celebrate the ordination of a priest there - the first one in many years.
