Dan! That is a classic FRACTAL!! It is a Romanesco Brocolli.
I know this not because I cook - which I don't - but rather because I'm a mathematician!!!!
I have been looking all over for those - can't find them in grocery stores out here! Where'd you get it?! Did you take more pictures? I'd love to use them when I rewrite my book on fractals!
