Wintery Blast

The pictures that I posted of last weekend's performance at Theatre Project really don't do it justice.

I'll try not to be so boring when it comes to posting about the ice storm which we just went through.

Okay, that isn't a picture of this particular ice storm. But school was closed for two days ... woo hoo!

A Roxi Ride

This weekend I performed Just Say Blow Me at Theatre Project with Susan Mele. Thanks to all the great crowds for both show. And I am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful show!

Me in the Grand Rapids Press

Several of my family members claim to have seen me in this photo in the Grand Rapids (Michigan) Press photo of Obama's visit to Baltimore:

Just like photos of bigfoot, this is an unconfirmed sighting.

Come See My Show!

Roxi Starr is back, and she's returning to her roots!

Eight years ago Roxi Starr appeared as a character in the play, Just Say Blow Me.

I wrote the music for her to sing and the lyrics were by the playwright, Leah Ryan.

A few months ago Leah died of leukemia, so we are remounting Just Say Blow Me in memory of her.

If you're nearby, come see it this Friday and Saturday at 8:00 at Theatre Project. You'll laugh.

Micronesia, Delivered

I got a letter in the mail the other day with this stamp on it.

It just reminded me of when I used to live in Guam when I was fresh out of college.

Did they have some extra street signs in the warehouse or something?

Yes, it's a field.

But it's not a street.

A few photos of Rohaizad and I at Changi Airport moments before I left.

After this I flew to London and to Baltimore.

2009 So Far

Rohaizad and I started 2009 by going for a walk. Along the way we passed the entrance to this school. What a friendly welcome!

Our first stop was one of our favorite roti prata shops. We have had roti for breakfast every morning except once.

Then we went hiking at Lower Peirce Reservoir.

Tonight I fly back to Baltimore.
